we are in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic. losing housing is a breach of dignity. don't let the shame eat you fighting for housing should not be necessary and when it is, it questions the deepest values and challenges and our friends.
hard conversations happen and when there is no family, the system becomes the "family" and it is heart wrenching to realize that it considers us as statistical occurences; meditate. fighting for housing is much easier when done as a community, but it is hard work for a community to keep the priorities of the most vulnerable front. do not hide your vulnerability: it is the only truth that can trigger change.
